Got acceptance. Strong 3 LORs, Strong SOP and Strong undergrad GPA. Low GRE (307) and Low TOEFL (98)

Anyone accepted from HCI track?

Unofficial acceptance received from POI over phone. Field: Computer architecture He told me I'll receive the official admit in a couple of days.

TTPB who was called by the POI at CMU for Theory, can you post the initials of the Prof who reached out to you ? Congrats !

TTPB: Yocket posters are all MEng, which has slightly lesser requirements than the MS CS. Not sure which one you applied for. Cornell's MS CS is incredibly hard to get into, their requirements are pretty crazy. I heard their overall batch size last year was 14 students.

AI. No interview. TA offer. 1 journal paper (not related). GRE not required.

To the accepted posters below, what is your research area?

To the poster below choosing between CMU and UCSD: I strongly think you should go with CMU because it is THE top CS program in the world. Most of CMU's CS programs are advertised as cash cow but people do get funded after semester or so. They have abundance of funds for projects in AI/ML and have the resources to fund all students. As good as UCSD is, it can't compare to CMU. Believe me, you wouldn't regret going to CMU. Its worth every penny spent.

MSCS

Yeah, they said it needs 6 to 10 weeks to proceed, and now it's APRIL. I JUST NEED A FUCKING RESULT. EITHER ADMISSION OR REJECTION IS FINE.

I was right about the eligibility criteria. Apparently you need to have a bachelors degree in CS to get in. The same school admitted me for another program but rejected me for this. Is there anyone with a non CS bachelors who got into this program?

Has anyone received any new admissions from UCSD? or any other UCs' for masters? Do you guys think most UCs' are already done with sending out new admissions???
