Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

How is everyone who mentioned wait-listed find out they were wait-listed? I can only see awaiting program decision on the website and haven't received any email.

3.5 years of work experience in a related field :) First accept.

Contacted by POI via email to schedule an online chatting regarding projects. Had several communications before submitting my application.

1 Publication, 2 Conferences.

Went to a state university. 3 years of undergrad research in a moderately related field. Maybe that got me?

To all the University of Utah students waiting for a decision, has anyone been waitlisted? I saw 7-8 Ph.D. acceptance posted here. Checked the stats from last year 7-8 decisions were made in late Jan/early Feb and all few were in March (waitlisted ones supposedly).

To person below, accepted into AI & human-centered computing area. Will almost definitely be attending, the visit weekend absolutely sold me

International Student. Undergrad from U Wisconsin-Madison. 1 conference paper, 3 research projects. 2 internships.

NLP field, several pubs and research experience but only one first-author pub in NLP, LORs from well-known research advisors. The email said the master admission result will be announced later

Did anyone heard back from the Systems group? Have the professors already made decisions? If yes, why are they delaying notifications?

Strong LORs and Statement of Purpose. Went here for undergrad so was expecting this. Also offered $6,000/year scholarship.
