Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Just received my acceptance email. Profile: Got a bachelors degree (with 8.6 CGPA) from an internationally reputed college. 7.5 in IELTS and have 3 (1st author) published papers. Won many awards and was a Teaching Assistant for 1 year. Good luck to all applicants waiting for their admits.

No funding at this time

Terse response on contacting them about MS decisions: "You should hear from us before April 15."

TTPB: It means our future is up in the air, and someone below said that UMass will be handing out all admits by Friday (Today). Holding onto the hope that my application hasn't been looked at yet and thats why it's still under review.

Applied for Ph.D., come out as a rejection for M.S.

After logging to view my application status, I noticed an extra tab for viewing events. Basically, below the button "Print Receipt" is a divider and a tab for "View Your Events" followed by a divider and "View Checklist". This was not there before. I click on that tab and it is a black screen. What does this mean?

Fellowship for the first year, the decision later says the final confirmation by the Institute will be received soon.

Interviewed on 10th Feb by a professor I mentioned in my SOP. I was notified by the professor on 18th Feb that I will receive an offer. Received the official email today!

For the posters below who got acceptance from department but the status on grad school is still 'Under Review'... is it sorted for you? I'm still facing this problem..

3 strong LoRs. 2 from research supervisors and one from a professor I worked with as a TA. 1 publication in review at ICDCS -- first author. Submitting two other papers(not first author) in January.

Has anyone received notifications from the Societal Computing Ph.D. program at CMU?

Have better admits, going to CMU

I received Ph.D. admits from Princeton (unofficial via email from POI) and from NCSU official mail. Awaiting other results in the coming weeks. Planning to stay away from CMU's MLT program as I cannot bear CMUs tuition costs. That's all I know from the POI.

Rejected yesterday. Submitted 11th Feb. Gave interview just days after that. Finally rejection after 3 months. 2 years work ex. Going to BU this fall.
