2 summer research @ Purdue and MSU, 1 co-first author @ AAAI, 1 co-author @ Computer Games conference (ACG). Undergrad from a top 60 LAC. Rejected from Stanford, UIUC, UC Berkeley (damn this year is so tough). No GRE.

Canadian, out-of-province Received an email with an offer of admission and checked the portal

Ignore the status, I was just wondering people who have received offer from NEU, are you planning to go?

One professor invited me to join his lab but my research interests did not align with the lab so I declined.

Comes with funding for 4 years! Will accept. Rejecting offers from UIC, UMiami, Fordham, USF and Delaware.

2 Internships, 1.5 years of work ex. as an SWE and 3x research papers (1x Journal, 2x Conferences) from a Tier-II Indian University. Received an unofficial rejection mail from the Comp. Sci. Graduate Admissions Committee after I enquired about the status of my application.

Deferred admission for January 2024 start

Emailed POI who told me, no update in the portal yet

To whom it may concern. Please decline the offer if you have any dominant offer. This is my only available option for PhD.

Didn't receive an email, checked my portal & saw I got waitlisted.
