Addressing the question below, not the same person but had an interview Monday and got non-official email Friday

Interviewed 2/3, Accepted by phone 2/7.

Applied for MSCS but got admitted into MCS program. Submitted application on 22nd Nov.

Applied to MS because I thought I wouldn't get into PHD program - they suggested I switch to PHD and here I am.

The graduate student advisor called me to notify me of my acceptance to the program (had previously Skyped with POI in early Dec). Have not yet recieved official acceptance, but they invited me to the recruitment weekend.

Another Rej.. This fall seems to be much more competitive than I thought...

Sorry, the post below was by me. The program name should be PhD in OR (under School of ISyE). The earliest (unofficial) notice from the program director came on 15 Jan, which said that I should expect an official letter in two weeks' time.

Applied directly to PhD program, offered fully funded MA program with TAship

Received generic email with link to portal with rejection letter. Would have been nice if POI gave feedback/asked more questions during interview.

Really disappointed, but I knew my chances were slim.

Notified by email to check website. No interview.

Email saying that first round offers will be sent very soon. Asks if still interested; will make offer if I am.

high 2:1 in economics and finance from a top uni in asia, good references, internship with unicef china, toefl 111. submitted everything on nov 22. first rejection, disappointed but tbh unsurprised :((( will probably be taking lse's offer (msc in the same subject) best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear back!
