Political Science, University Of Toronto To below: Thank you for you reply. Actually I got the email as same as yours. I cannot understand the meaning either. Does it mean our ranking of getting admission is behind the formal waitlist? Anyway, waiting almost kill me....Good luck to other applicants who are also waiting right now

Political Science, University Of Toronto To below: I had a mail from Dr Bernstein, saying "We have sent out our first round of offers, refusals and formal waitlist notifications. A decision has not yet been made on your application. Sometime between now and the second week of April, your file will be reviewed again and we will update your status." Not entirely sure what this means. But hope it helps

Political Science, University of Chicago rejected from PoliSci PhD program, referred to their MA program instead with partial funding. The CIR and MAPSS programs will incur significant student loan debt with interest and reapplying in Dec of 2014 with UChicago MA will make no difference. they only accept 1 person from the UChicago MA program
