Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

to the poster below, I emailed the director of the program and i got an email back saying I got in. When I went on my portal today, it said that I was admitted.

TTPB: Hi! Regarding NMSU, I received an admission offer on Monday, March 22. Prior to that, I hadn't heard anything after submitting my application.

No interview! Wondering if anyone has heard anything from this school in Las Cruces, NM?

Not an interview. Have not received any communication from SJSU since submitting my app in December.

not an interview! TTPB: I've only had an interview from SFSU but haven't heard back. I heard SJSU does not do interviews but not 100% sure. Anyone else heard back?

I received an email to interview last week for 2 yr program. Has anybody interviewed yet that could tell me how it went/what they asked?

Assumed I was waitlisted since I didn't receive an invite to the open house. For anyone who knows more about the program, how was the open house? I've seen varying reviews & i'm debating on accepting/denying waitlist...

*not waitlist* responding to the previous poster - I also received the email about assistantship deadline, I reached out to the graduate division and they said all decisions will be sent out on 4/15 - hope knowing when to expect a response helps everyone with the wait! waitlisted for fall 2021

3.79 undergrad GPA, 3.9 SLP GPA. Lots of experience volunteering with programs at my undergrad including my NSSLHA chapter, hosting workshops, etc. Was a TA and a tutor as well. This was my second choice, so making a pros and cons list with my top choice over the weekend.

3.9 SLP Major GPA, no GRE, no research experience, some extracurriculars and observation hours. I figured I would either be accepted or waitlisted, since GRE scores weren't required I'm sure it was more competitive than usual. The email said the waitlist was ranked and some people get accepted off the waitlist every year so I'm still hopeful!

Will be declining as I don't think Temple is the right fit for me anyway, I hope it helps someone else on the waitlist!
