1550-1700 strand. First class student from a RG university. Averaging between 75-85 for essay grades. Absolutely gutted, but onwards and upwards!

Update from my previous post: I received an email asking me to fill out some forms about funding. While I do not think this necessarily guarantees admission, I suspect that it is a good sign. (I didn't receive any such forms when I was denied admission previously.)

Accepted with four years' TA appointment. The Associate Dean informed me the decision in an MS Team Meeting.

To the previous poster: I got accepted into the Literature and Cultural Studies program. They sent me an email with TA Appointment for five years. I know someone who checked the portal when she saw her decision posted there.

To the person asking about Oregon State: my GPA is 4.12 on a 4.30 scale, I have an undergrad major in writing/rhetoric and no publications or anything. I just received an informal email informing me of my acceptance; nothing has changed on the portal yet. I hope you get good news soon!

To the person asking about Riverside: when I got the email with my rejection, the portal changed, probably immediately because I was checking it pretty obsessively and didn't see the change until the email came. My “being processed” app moved to the “view admission decisions” tab (or whatever it says). Good luck!
