Ladies and gentlemen! Has anyone heard of the UC Irvine wait list has moved? If you're holding on to an offer but will not attend please help us move the WL along, folks. Thank you! For some reason, I cannot see comments, please reply to me (if you plan to) as another post and refer to my post.

Just got the email described in the post below. Trying to figure out if this was sent to all waitlisted candidates or to those on the short-list.

Just received an email from the department chair with the following message: "I write to you with an update regarding the UChicago Economics waitlist. During the next two weeks we hope to be reaching out to many of you with offers to join our graduate program. If such an offer is made, you will receive a notification from our application system directing you to login to view your updated decision. It is very important that you accept or decline our offer in our application system as soon as you have made a decision, as we are on a tight schedule to fill our incoming cohort spots. All offers must be accepted no later than April 15, 2022 (no exceptions) ..." Everyone on the waitlist got this email?

Has anyone heard anything at all about UChicago's waitlist? It seems a lot of people are waitlisted. I have not heard of anyone being rejected or accepted off of it. This is my dream school, so any info would be appreciated! Also, please deny your offer if you don't plan on going :).

Ignore WL. TPB, I wasn't invited to open day and also wasn't invited to interviews. By the 25 Feb they were still informing me that selections are still going in. I will go if offered, though but I have no idea what is going on inside.

Has anyone on the waitlist heard back from them? Any idea if and when they are going to extend offers to waitlisted candidates?

I have received an email saying that I need to activate my id which then directs me to Howdy portal. Clicking on manage applications, I saw that Application Status is Denied Admission. Funk A&M. Anyone knows how to delete this stupid account? If I am rejected just say it. Why did I even activated some stupid account?
