Ignore the waitlist. Does anyone who applied for hep-th heard back form MSU? Have they finished sending out all the offers? The status on the portal is still showing "under review" and no any update.

Ignore waitlist, hep-th, anyone know if they give Master offer to everyone who's rejected by PhD program? Already have been rejected by many PhD program it might be my only chance

hep-th. Got rejected from the Ph.D. program but offered a position in the MA program with no funding. Funny that they called us "admitted students" and also invite us to their virtual open house on March 3/9 & 3/10. I think the last wave of acceptance will be sent by then. Good luck!!!

Same poster as before. I haven't made a decision yet because I'm waiting to hear from some other schools as well, but I might accept because it's a good school and research interests align. And yes i submitted general Gre scores 160V 159Q.
