Ignore the status, has anyone heard from Purdue regarding MS in Mechanical Engineering?

BRUH THEY DONT EVEN EMAIL - (Shows admission denied). Very unprofessional for the application fees that's paid!

Unlike most others I've been accepted to, this one is unfunded. I'm Canadian undergrad with math major and stats minor at a Canadian uni with a 90.8% (converted to 3.92/4) average in upper level courses relating to degree. I have until the 21st to accept the offer. I received an e-mail on the 16th telling me my application has been updated, with the acceptance letter dated on the 14th.

PI: LA Received a personal email on 4/14 from the Director of Clinical Training stating that despite my strong application, LA chose another applicant - Definitely not surprised, seeing as it is mid-April. However, she also said that her email was meant to be a follow-up on my official decision notification that I should have received at this point, but my portal still reflected "under review" status until my rejection letter was finally uploaded on 4/17. I still have yet to receive the normal notification email that the Director said I should have received prior to her reaching out with well-wishes. Despite this admissions mess, in my experience, LA is a true rarity in Academia. She is both a brilliant researcher and a fantastic mentor and human being. Sending the biggest congratulations to her accepted applicant!

Standard, generic notification. Imagine feeling like it's okay to not communicate to your applicants until April 18. Thankfully I've already accepted a good offer from elsewhere.

I received an email saying that I have been accepted, but they will send an official letter out soon. Did anyone else get that? I will be accepting offer when I receive official letter. So excited for everyone!
