Did my Bachelor's and Master's Thesis in the lab I got accepted to. An accepted and a submitted paper to A* conferences.

Got rejected for aerospace engineering (MEng) but they transferred my application to engineering practice (Mechanical) and got an offer. Probably because my major in undergrad is mechanical engineering. No GRE. International student. This site helped me a lot giving me references. Hope this is helpful. Good Luck!

Applied for MEng last year late Nov and made sure everything was submitted by Jan. My undergrad is mechanical engineering. Have to do IELTS score over 7 though. No GRE needed but still missing last semester's result to confirm the offer. Good luck everyone!

Contacted the PI in November, then went through several interviews and tasks till now. I have a master's degree with 3.5/4.0 GPA, no GRE.

It seems that you have to contact your poi yourself and if you can not manage to find an advisor, you will be rejected. It is just a waste of money.

I have 1 year of work ex in FAAANG, 2 research paper, 3 internships ( total 2 years). I think they didn't even open my application. I can't believe I spent 5 months worrying about this bull**** uni. And the audacity to release mass rejects in June. Good riddance.

I just got notified that I have been waitlisted. I will withdraw my application however as I have already accepted a much better offer over a month ago. Northeastern really needs work on its grad school admission process. I have not even been interviewed, and since the application deadline - for the past six months - there has been no contact from the admission committee or faculty.

Had a mediocre 3rd year gpa, but excellent 4th year gpa. Had an honours thesis, research practicum, and two publications.

You can do it! Even if you think your undergrad GPA might be too low! (No research experience)

Received an email notifying me that the Library & Information Science (MA) program has recommended me for admission, but the email also said: "Your application will now be reviewed by the Graduate College for final verification." It is now June 1st 2023, and I still have yet to receive any subsequent communications that I have formally passed the "final verification".

Applied for both in-person/on-campus instruction and the completely online version of the program. I believe I am on the wait-list for the in-person program, but the email did not specify what version of the program I was added to the wait-list for.

MEng BME. not going as it's v expensive. class is said to be v small with 8-11 students
