Did not complete an application due to the omission of one LOR. Received a mail asking if I'd like to be considered for MS admission.

Received an email to check the portal for my decision wherein there was a letter telling me I had been waitlisted. Those of you who were accepted but will not be enrolling, please inform them as soon as you can.

I am a US student. A professor contacted me early this week about interviewing for a position in his lab. However, I have declined the interview because I already have committed to a PhD program at Georgia Tech. Subsequently, I withdrew my application from University of Maryland. I hope another PhD applicant at University of Maryland gets an offer. Good luck!

International Student, applied for PhD, got offered a MS admit without funding (after waiting ages). Rejected this already.

A bit weird, as the reason for rejection is stated to be "mismatch in interest", and I had discussed my interests with my potential adviser and had two interviews with him before applying.

International student with undergrad degree from the US. 2 publications (one outside of CS, one for a data science workshop), 2 years of undergrad AI research, 2.5 years of work experience as a software/machine learning engineer. Received notification on email to check portal, and a decision letter was there.

On May 16, I received an email indicating "A decision has been reached on your graduate application. Please visit your status page to access your decision letter." This update indicated a rejection. Before the April 15 deadline to submit an intent to enroll, I reached out to a professor at UCR and they advised that I had not been accepted to the program. For future applicants, contact out to someone in the department, and don't wait to hear from their grad division dean!

Excited to get into MS Robotics program, I'm an international student from Tier 3 uni with 6 months of relevant work experience. Secured 7.5 band on IELTS. PS: Didn't take GRE though ;)

I had an interview in March, which involved writing a 300 word essay afterward and sending it back within 24 hours. I heard nothing for weeks, so I followed up twice and was told they were sending offers to full-time students that week and would send to part-time students after that. I had to make decisions on my other offers (Brooklyn College and Hunter College) by mid-April, so hearing back in May is way too late. I assume I was on some waitlist but they didn't tell me? It took them 6 weeks to give me a decision after my interview with two follow ups in between. It feels a bit rude to have so little communication from them when I had to jump through so many hoops (and pay a significant application fee).

Kindly ignore the interview tag. Has anyone heard back from the MAIST program at York University? If yes, please respond with a comment.
