Graduate School Admission Results

I've been working a SW for the last 4 years, I received a "Benemerenza civica" for some music achievement (the highest level of recognition from the major of your city in Italy), I founded a robotics startup (top 45 from Milan Polytechnic Switch2Product)

Internationally no name uni (~top 800), but best in my country. Graduated as the top of the class. 8 months of research experience at the uni + 1.5 years of relevant experience at a research institute. Won multiple scientific competitions both in uni and nationally & received some external awards. Bit sad but I don't think I could have done anything more :/

GPH. Interviewed and waitlisted in Feb.

Interviewed in early April.

Conditionally accepted, must find a supervisor before fully accepted. Just graduated from same school with HBSc.

Admitted at the master's programme, I did my bachelor in Politecnico di Milano. I'm a professional athlete with work experience in the field (I did an internship as a Business Analyst Intern)

2 internships: one inside the university for the thesis, the other at an external research institute. No article published. Top 5% of my class in a good Italian university. I put a lot of effort into the SoP, it really helped to have others revise it (people with experience in writing motivation letters). I was a bit obsessed with this application, I think that if I didn't anyone can. Good luck .

IELTS 8. I got into Project Track and will likely be deferring to Fall'24 as I haven't prepared jack shit in terms of finances and Visa; I had applied to 3 US unis only out of which UMN(rejected) , Northwstern University(got an admit within 8 days of appyng in March, but I had decided to defer due to shit ton of money which I don't think I have and apply for other unis next fall intake) and Purdue. But now that I have got Purdue I will most likely be going there next fall. I chose this path predominantly because I have a job offer in hand and at the moment I think instead of rushing with the visa and loan process It would be in my best interest to gain Industry experience for a year.

Had 3 years of UX experience. BFA Design undergrad. Strong LOR's. Portfolio was kind of messy since I did it presentation style and not web format. I baited my breath, but I'm so glad I got in! Win is a win!
