My first rejection. Haven't heard from other programs I applied to. A little worried that I won't go anywhere.

Received a phone call from the graduate director on 1/20/21 informing me of my acceptance to the program with 5 years of full funding. I am still waiting to receive my official email and portal update.

5-year funding with TA opportunities and summer support.

Made great connections with 2 potential faculty advisors and spoke with them multiple times prior to submitting my app. Spoke with current Austin PhD students for advice on application. Have 5 years of relevant work experience and a 3.8 undergrad GPA, 2 academic publications and dozens of articles in academic magazines. Rejected via form email.

Rather annoyed... I had been corresponding with a POI for a few months now and got the impression I had a strong shot. Austin would have been nice.
