Sociology Graduate School Admission Results

American with an international BA and MA degree in sociology. I have submitted my GRE scores. It is my first response for the cycle, and the program is one of my top choices, stay hopeful.

Waitlisted straight out of undergrad, so not super disappointing. Hoping to hear back soon and keeping faith! If you plan to accept elsewhere please inform them when you can. Good luck everyone!

To the poster below, $25,000 stipend for years 1 and 5 with opportunity to apply for $6,000 summer scholarship, and if not received, the dept. will fund $4,000 for first year. TA or RA positions for years 2-4

Hi, here to answer follow-up questions from my FSU admissions acceptance post. Yes, I only received a phone call from the Director who will send the written acceptance in the mail. Yes, I received an email in December. Lastly, I submitted my application sometime in late October/early November. BTW, the DGS said they have not sent all of their acceptances yet (actually most haven't been sent).
