Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

Surprised, I was waitlisted. Has anyone heard anything, they said we should hear by 04/15 but it's about to be July 😭... GPA - 3.7 No GRE

Waitlisted on 4/19/21 and asked for interview exactly a month later. Interview on 6/3/21 and still waiting on decision (current date 6/24/21)

Application cleared on April 16, phone call for acceptance on June 21 (slightly over 9 week wait). Undergrad GPA 3.3; post-bacc gpa and pre-req courses all As. No GRE sent. Solid interview. Solid personal statement about adversities and how I overcame them and have grown since. Will be accepting this offer for online Fall 2021.

Admitted. Won't be accepting because of financial reasons. Below average GRE and GPA. Solid resume, strong personal statement. Great recommenders.

GPA: 3.8, Major GPA: 3.96. Participated in research, shadowed SLPs (over 50hrs), member of 4 CSD clubs, unique volunteer experiences, and worked part time. Strong personal statement, great LORs, and trilingual. Didn't feel like I did well in the interview. GRE was waived.

Bachelor of Social Work. Bilingual. Emerson@speech program. No GRE required. Interviewed 5/25/21. Applied to Fall, 3-year cohort that offers prerequisites and entry to master's contingent on acceptable grades in the first year of studies.

3.14 GPA, No GRE required one-year SLPA experience, five years as an early childhood assistant, one year as an early childhood teacher, strong letters of recommendation (two SLPs and one professor,) and personal statement. I thought my interview did not go well. Atypical student (30 years old, among other things) interviewed May 6, follow up meeting two days ago.

SLPA experience along with Masters in ABA. For September 21 cohort!

Got the call this morning! Was not expecting this!! Interview was 5/27 and application was complete shortly after. 3.32 undergrad GPA in Speech & Hearing Sciences, no GREs, great LORs and personal essay.

Had phone interview on 5/27/21. It was three questions long and took 8 minutes to complete.

My first choice, so happy.! Accepted to NYU online, and could not believe the lack of response when I reached out, not to mention ZERO financial aid. Interviewed for NYMC and heard back two days later. MEDICAL STUDY!!! SO HAPPY!!!! Wait listed at James Madison, rejected from Emerson (took them 6 months to let me know). Strong essay, 3.6 undergrad, 4.0 in prerequisites. GOOD LUCK to everyone, NEVER GIVE UP!

After being at the top of the waitlist at schools with full cohorts, I was finally accepted somewhere. Out of field applicant with a degree in music/theatre. 3.8 GPA
