Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

This is for Speech@Emerson, for the January 2022 start! I am so excited to have been accepted. I am an out-of-field applicant who worked in the technology field for many years out of college, this past year I started working in Early Intervention alongside SLPs and finishing my levelling coursework at CSUSM. I have a 3.5 undergrad GPA, 4.0 CSD GPA, 153Q, 162V, 5.0AW. If anyone else was accepted to this cohort, I'd love to know!

Interview on 10/11, phone call and email on 10/14 .

Clinical Doctorate (SLPD)

I received my BA in CSD in 2015, with a 2.9 gpa, worked in ABA, received a MA in ABA in 2021 with a 3.8 gpa. My GRE scores were too old to use, after 6 years of dreaming, I'm finally in! Never give up, if it's what you want.

Couldn't be happier! This was my top choice! Had to wait a bit but dreams do come true! Was rejected and now accepted!!!

I was rejected from FIU in April. I was never interviewed or put on a waitlist, yesterday I got an email that they have a few spots left open and would like to interview me. This is my top choice! I'm so excited!

Got the acceptance email today! Application, including interview, was completed on 6/1, so it took 6 weeks to hear back. No GRE required. Undergrad in psychology and previous work as Spanish interpreter. So thankful.

I received an email that I was accepted into UNCO distance program. I will be declining this offer. For those of you waiting, don't lose hope!!

Has anyone heard back or gotten off the waitlist? I've called and emailed but have received no communication from them.

Just had my interview today. I thought it went well. Fingers crossed

Interviewed a week ago today. Accepted via phone call for class of 2023! No GRE

TTBP: I'm also on the waiting list and I emailed them recently, they said the "cohort is currently full but if a space opens up they'll continue to make offers throughout the course of the summer." I wish they would've told us about it instead of having us wait so long but this is most updated info I have, sorry guys..

3.6 GPA, all A's in prereqs. Former Broadway singer/dancer, now 49 years old. I teach master classes in vocal technique. Strong LORs and essay. Waited 7 weeks since application cleared. Thankful.

TTPB: If I find out anything new I'll keep you posted, I emailed, and still no update. I'm hoping we can hear something soon!

TTPB: I was also waitlisted and haven't heard a word from them. They should at least send an update if the class was full.. fingers crossed we still have a chance but it's almost July.. If you have any more insight lmk..
