Sociology Graduate School Admission Results

To the poster below, does this mean they are not doing interviews this year? Or are they just going to send out interviews in the next two weeks?

Has anyone heard from the school of sociology? I know last yr they sent out their acceptance letters around this time.

Email sent stating I made the shortlist of candidates and request for an interview

There is still no message or notification. Yet, I saw an Instagram post on their official account yesterday and it was said that the results (they did not mention any specific program) will be available by the mid of Feb.

Anyone received updates from USC, the deadline is December 1st, a long time ago...

I have not heard back from Rutgers yet. I was told admission decisions would be sent the first week of February. One more week!

Anyone heard back from them after the initial interview?

Would you feel comfortable with sharing your subfield of interest or the initials of POI? Regardless, hope you'll go to a school that is a good fit!

Did not submit GRE. Was interviewed last week (1 of 30 remaining applicants). Interview went fairly well but interviewer may not have been a good fit with my research interests. Best of luck to everyone still awaiting their admissions decision!

To other posters asking about UCI, I was one of the first to get an interview, and I have not heard back. They are probably waiting to send out a bulk of admissions decisions rather than doing one by one. Best of luck to everyone :)

To the poster asking about ASU, yes I would be accepting because this is the only school I applied into. I am yet to receive any info on funding so there is no point accepting now. Also, I got an email last week where I was invited to a virtual event at the department.

Has anyone gotten accepted into UCI Sociology?

For those accepted to ASU, are you planning to accept? I am wondering if I was placed on a waitlist because I have not heard back. I checked in with POI and no luck. I am a little worried.

Still cannot believe it as another international student in my cohort got the offer from ucla two weeks ago. Thinking I was rejected but still got it. For all those still waiting for offers, please keep in faith!!!

Undergrad Sociology student at UCI. Usually by this time, previous years have had a large round of acceptances sent out. They're awfully quiet this time of year. Anyone know what's going on?

Saw some posts with decisions from WUSTL last week. Any idea when all results will be out?
