TTPB: when was your interview?

official confirmation of admission from POI. field: ml + scientific computing.

Correction to below: two people seemed to receive interviews for clinical psych, with one being a pre-lim.

To the commenter below me who reposted the January email: you reposted my comment, but added "Also entries reported receiving interviews late December to Early January." This was NOT part of the original post. After checking for whether entries did really receive interviews late December to early January, only one person on gradcafe seemed to have a pre-lim interview this year (done after searching for Harvard and psychology). Please clarify where you got "Also entries reported receiving interviews late December to Early January" from; otherwise, this is misleading.

TTPB: I'm afraid it's for everyone. They had more candidates than usual for only 12 spots (like 2 spots for each tracks more or less). I don't believe they are running late, they shortlisted for interviews and sent invites for everyone the last week of january. They don't interview many people at all... and if you don't see someone from your track posting here its probably because they're not on gradcafe. They will probably send admits notifications end of this month and rejections in a month (like previous years).

TTPB: No news at this point probably means rejection... They were entries from last week of people getting emails for interviews... Someone also heard from the program that they would have sent all invitations to interview by end of January.

Repost: 14 Jan 2021 After emailing Harvard about interviews and the admissions timeline: "Thank you for your interest in the Psychology PhD program at Harvard. Faculty are currently reviewing applications and conducting interviews. Interviews (whether via phone, Zoom, or in person) are always part of the admissions process for our eventual admits, but not all applicants will receive an interview. We expect interviews to take place through mid-February. Admissions decisions will be sent out in early March. Also entries reported receiving interviews late December to Early January.

I'm shocked to see that people have been posting interviews, is this the first time the program has interviews? I have no idea what to do now.,. frustrated

TTPB: I was interviewed in early January with a POI and not heard back since. Were there any further steps for you after interview? The POI said results should be out in Early Feb.

To the invitees of 19th Jan, did anyone of you receive any further communication or next steps? Any information regarding when will the decisions be declared ?
