English Graduate School Admission Results

I received an email requesting an interview. I've already made a decision on another program, so I advised them. Hopefully, someone else can have my spot!

Relieved at least to stop checking my email and this cursed website! My mentor said it best, "As for Harvard, whatever. Their delay was unconscionable for so many reasons and they clearly have no taste." 2a/1r/3w

Email - "I am writing to inform you that based on your strong academic record and fine recommendations, you are among the select number of applicants on the waitlist for admission to our PhD in English for Fall 2021.We had a strong pool this year and were forced to make many difficult decisions in determining our fewer than normal PhD offers."

It was my dream school, naturally, but no surprises here.

Had not heard from them and decided to email after seeing other people comment the same thing. Was waitlisted and told the likelihood of anything changing before late March is low

Received notification for an interview scheduled for next week. Mailed earlier tiday and was told that final decisions will be communicated on March 16. Fingers crossed.
