Did not submit GRE scores. Applied to Classics-Phil joint program (though unclear if this is the reason for the late rejection?)

Phone call from Scott Soames informing me that my offer of admission was contingent upon beating him, "right now," at a game of mental chess. 'Mate in 4, baby.

Rejected from both PhD and Master's, got an email to check letter on portal.

Grad GPA: 4.00. Undergraduate education outside philosophy. The e-mail said they "had a large number of applicants and only a limited number of seats in the program. As a result, there were many strong applicants that we regretfully could not admit."
