Not recently waitliisted. Did anybody give up their admissions at Tufts? Or is anyone planning to?

Rejected from their PhD program and placed in their MA because apparently they only had 4 open slots and 100 applications (I think someone else said that). I...Yo, @Buffalo, I already have an English MA....

Email to check the portal. The shortest and most impersonal rejection yet. Rather rude to make us wait this long when the first batch of rejections went out a month ago. Good riddance! 2a/4r/2p

Email notifying me that there was a change in my status in the portal. In the portal, there was a short statement saying that I had been waitlisted. I've already accepted at UVA, so I'll be turning this down!

Email stating that there was an update in the portal. Portal had a brief letter stating that I had been waitlisted and to contact them if I did not want to be considered.

Got accepted without Ta position or funding, rejected it real quick. 8a/0w/2r

To the people asking if other people have heard - I emailed the program director a few weeks ago to see if I could get a timeline and at the time he said that they had just finished PhD selections and then would move on to MA/MFA selections. That was a few weeks to a month ago, so I'm not sure what the hold up is.

Rejected from the PhD program (there were only 4 funded seats this year) but accepted to the MA program which is not funded. Will likely decline.

TTPB: Well yes, generally acceptances go out before rejections. So this is confusing indeed and I wonder what this indicates about our application status. Let's just hope that we get notified by the end of this week!

Asked to check portal, rejected from PhD but offered an unfunded position in the MA. Will be turning it down because I already have one. They noted that they only had 4 positions available this year and "nearly 100" applicants. Tough season, y'all!
