Very sad but after seeing all the acceptances knew this was coming. Already got into another top choices so all is okay:)

Though my research interests are similar to faculty members and I communicated with one of them, I got rejection letter. A little bit disappointed. Congrats to all admitted students!

985 Project university from China. High GPA. Rank 1 at my undergraduate program. Strong recommendation letters. 4 research experiences in related fields. Totally confused about rejection.

Has anyone heard from MSU? I received an email for an interview about 10 days ago. The program coordinator asked about my general availability for the week of March 1st and said she will work on arranging some meetings for me. No more news since then...

The website says that we wouldn't know until the first week of March I believe. Also, how many people do they actually accept into the program? I'm sure very few people get accepted, but it seems like there would be at least one or two other people claiming acceptance into this program? I don't want to call the poster bellow a troll, especially if their acceptance is real and they're genuinely excited about it. But I also don't see any rejections posted and it seems weird that no one has been rejected either?

(Ignore interview) Can someone confirm the Harvard acceptance in the 2021 cycle forum with more details please? Decisions aren't supposed to be out until next week earliest so I'm having difficulty believing that the result is real. It was also posted concurrently with the GSP program result. Don't troll us on here, we don't need it.

I have not received a notification from UM saying that I was rejected, however, I emailed the department and they told me that all admissions offers have been sent out. So unfortunately I think it is safe to assume that since I have not heard anything, I have been rejected. This admissions cycle was a lot more difficult than I had anticipated. I am a Canadian student and I have been rejected from every American program I applied to, even with two years of research experience and a 3.98 GPA in my sociology undergrad. Congratulations to everyone admitted. You should feel really proud.

Admitted with a 5-year teaching assistantship. I'm going to decline this offer. Good luck!
