English Graduate School Admission Results

IGNORE INTERVIEW - Are people still waiting to hear anything? I saw someone post an acceptance for the master's program but nothing else. Past submissions show they usually send their notifications around this time.

So excited! GPA is MA. 1a 1w 1p

Ignore the interview. I applied to their PhD program but I haven't heard anything yet. I saw some rejections here and there were some acceptances before. What does this mean? Is there anyone like me?

Same as everyone else. Disappointed but not surprised.

Email to check portal, generic and short rejection. I got into all the other ivies I applied to so far, so... Are they only taking 3 students this year again? Lol.

GPA is from M.A.; email to check portal sent at 11:22am(central time) on 02/11; generic rejection letter. Obviously, this is a highly selective program, so I am trying not to be too hard on myself. However, this is definitely a big disappointment. I'm going to try to learn from this admissions cycle so that I have a better chance next year. Congrats to everyone accepted, and I hope to join you all Fall 2023! lol

Email to check portal. Ivy League undergraduate and master's degrees, plus an LOR from a well-respected alum. Goes to show how competitive this cycle was.

GPA is MA. A generic rejection letter. I expected a rejection, even though my research fit was good. But we all know that's hardly enough for an Ivy League. 0a/3r/0w/7p

Form email, no MA, no GRE. Not a surprise at all, with how competitive this cycle is.

Pretty bummed out, but given the fact that they only admitted 3 students last year I shouldn't be surprised.

Super selective program and not a great fit so this was pretty expected. Also, had a LOR from someone who had attended, so it's def competitive!! Congrats to all who got in! 1a/2r/6p
