No pubs or conference presentations. Worked on various topics and currently doing thesis on galaxies, but wanted to switch fields, so applied for exoplanets. Didn't cold-emailed profs before. Really thought it would have worked, but I guess my lack of depth in astrophysics research and no pubs weakened my application. But I'm really happy for everyone who got in!! All the best guys!
