English Graduate School Admission Results

Well kids, it's been real: 0a/10r. Time to chart a course for the upcoming year and plan an application overhaul for next season. Good luck to everyone else--if you're like me and got rejections across the board, just remember that you're in good company and that there's always next year.

Had to write to them to get an answer. Nothing posted on the portal. If I were you and still waiting, I would write to them. No idea why they would sit on rejections.

Emailed letter informing me about the waitlist. Very eager to work with their American literature program so here's hoping! 0a/3r/1w/5p

Full-funding for two years!

Currently on the wait list. The school is my top choice. I would very much appreciate if you have decided not to accept their offer and can let them know as soon as possible. :-)

Previously posted a rejection that contained an invitation to apply for their master's. Didn't send the application over for that and today received another rejection. Really drive it home y'all.

Crap.

I checked the website, and the status had changed to "Applicant Accepted Offer."

Rejected offers from TCU, LSU, and Texas A&M to attend here, mostly because of the opportunities to work with the faculty.

My experience was just the same as everyone below. Three unanswered emails, one unanswered call. I was finally notified on the 20th about my rejection - very unprofessional. They do not care to let you know anything about the process.

Joining the list of Cornell rejects now. This was actually my dream school, and it's the first response I've got.

I knew ND was a long shot since I didn't even take the subject GRE. They worded the rejection very sweetly which was nice.

It was always a long shot, but I'm still pretty sad. Congratulations to those who were accepted!
