University of Southern California Graduate School Admission Results

Received an email to check the application portal. I was previously invited to an interview but still got rejected... 2-yr experience in the public sector + 2-yr research assistant experience in both college and grad school. Mediocre GPA but from the top universities. Anyways, congrats to those who are admitted!

Theory/ML, acceptance via email, interview in January

No Research Papers, already have an M.Tech (Software Eng. 9.72/10 GPA), working at FAANG as SDE2 for 2.5+ years.

General track. GPA : 9.43/10 (3.83 is the conversion using Scholero). I was accepted for Fall 2021 but chose not to go, so I moved my application to Fall 2022 instead.

Quantum Info; unofficially admitted by the committee chair, probably won't attend because of better offers.

The email says congrats and the invitation to the campus visit since they said admitted applicants will be invited to the campus visit. not sure when the official offer will come.

I interviewed at USC and another PI I am close with (not accepting students this cycle) let me know that official offers went out today. I was not sent an offer, but was told I was still being considered if the first offer was rejected. Super bummed. Try to stay positive everyone—it's a hard process, but we'll all make it through!

I'm IN I'm IN I'm FINALLY IN!!!! This is my second time applying to programs, four years out from undergrad and I am ecstatic! Four years of full-time experience, 2 years RA in undergrad, 2 pubs (1 first, 1 co-author), 7 conference presentations. I cried, my dad cried. I'm so grateful. This program, the PI, and the students all seem incredible and I'm so excited. PI: CG, emailed with informal offer yesterday, formal offer came today

Electronics UG from IIT Kharagpur. My research is in Robotics - got a Fellowship from the department. Had one workshop publication at ICRA, and some other papers in submission.

Email at 1am to check decision in portal.

Recieved an email from the program director that said official decisions will be posted early next week by the graduate division. Overall, I don't think I was a good fit for the program. Good luck to everyone else :)

Phone call notification of an offer, said the official letter to follow!

My top choice. Very kind phone call from the DGS informing me that due to funding they had very few spots available this year. Haven't seen any acceptances on the results page yet, but If you've been admitted and do not wish to attend please them know!
