Wait-listed for the DMA program, if anyone is going elsewhere please let them know soon, this is my dream school! Email from the director of admissions: Thank you for your application for admission to the USC Thornton School of Music. Due to the high number of very qualified applicants the program has reached capacity for the fall semester of 2011. However, you performed very well on your audition and the faculty has recommended that your name be placed on a waiting list. You will be notified at a later date should space become available in the program. If space does become available, a recommendation from the Thornton School of Music will be forwarded to the USC Office of Admission for consideration, along with your complete academic record, for admission to pursue the DMA. If you would like your name to be removed from this waiting list, please inform us as soon as possible. We encourage you in the meantime to complete your USC application file if you have not already done so. In the event that space does become available in the program, a complete USC application file will help to speed the process of finalizing admission.

More than two months after interviews and after multiple unanswered emails they finally unofficially rejected me.

Living abroad, came by post. No word on funding. 3-1 and waiting on Georgetown.

i'm wondering about USC too. i know they interviewed in january and sent out acceptances in february so who knows why they won't just sent out letters.

To the USC poster below: I'm not sure what's going on with USC, but I have an interview with them this afternoon. It's a mystery as to what is taking so long...

Got an email notifying me of my acceptance. Will be getting the final deal via post. 80% scholarship/year.
