FINALLY!!!! Was notified by the School of Engineering that my welcome packet is on its way.

Email with Official Letter to Follow. Offered Admission to Master of Architecture + 2 year program with $21,000 scholarship.

A little unexpected, I presume they had a much higher volume of applications than the previous years.

very hard to decide. no funding, but could attend I guess. I want to work in cognitive science, and they only have a few professors working in computational neuroscience. Any ideas?

Applied in the last week of March so no chance of an assistantship... sent me an email asking to send affidavit of support to receive the I-20 and admission letter. REALLY EXCITED!

the letter sent in April 8 and I've just found out thanks to snail mail!!!!!!!!!!!!

they said they will post results in jun30! as an international student (which also need to be cleared at embassy for about 2~3 weeks), I can not wait until then. I waste about $150 on apply on usc.

Regarding to the previous entry, this university will start processing of applications in some of the specific tracks of Masters program (not all of them) in late May right after the termination of Spring semester, due to one of the BME department officials, so you may receive the notification from them in June or maybe in early July.

To the poster below. For Masters, USC will be sending out decisions through June. I wouldn't worry too much. It's a fairly easy program to get accepted. Nearly 50% acceptance rate (this is for MS). Most of the decisions, if not all, should have been notified to all the Ph.D. applicants by April 15. USC has a tendency to reject international students these days (even those with very solid credentials), hence unfortunately international applicants are at disadvantage. I've been attending USC for over 6 yrs. (undergrad and grad) so I know how things work at USC.

After 5 months, No news from the department.. What r they doing?!!!!

Applied in January and got no reply with my 3 emails seeking for application status. Are those guys sleeping?

A long long long wait till they finally let the results out. Received a one question online interview on Apr12, and soon got an email of my ad. Received a nice packet, but have to withdraw this acceptance as it is not funded. Will attend another school with full fundings.

So excited!!!!!!
