University of Michigan Graduate School Admission Results

Direct email from an ADCOM member (probably). Notification of funding with possible fellowship. Now waiting for my other three schools. Hope I can have better options

This year we have over 2,000 applications, and the admission committee is reviewing them as fast as possible. The admission committee plans to have all decisions made by May 1st. However, I cannot guarantee that all decision will be made by that date. I ask for your patience as the admission committee finishes reviewing the applications. If you have additional admission offers from other institutions, do not let our process keep you from making a decision. They just haven't sent out the rejections yet for anyone.

To the Rolls Royce guy below, I guess you shouldn't be disheartened. It's damn pricey University to be in, ain't going there. They don't even offer scholarships to the Master students. We can apply for RA/TA, only after we join.

Unofficial acceptance through early admit program; applied for AMO. Formal acceptance with full details to come. I anticipate for everyone else regular decisions will come a little later, as usual

To the U Mich admits below. When did you submit your application?

Should I expect more acceptances from the University of Michigan? Or does it send out all acceptances in one go?

Only accepted 10% of 300 applicants. Tough go around, but best of luck to those headed to Ann Arbor.
