Molecular Engineering, University of Chicago Although my TOEFL score was 87, the PI encouraged me to apply to the doctoral program regarding this score, due to my wide experience in computational science. I would like to know if this was the determining factor to waste $90. According with the decision letter, there were a "large number of applications (...) that far exceeded our expectations". Congrats to all accepted people, please appreciete the opportunity guys.

Molecular Engineering, University of Chicago No GRE. 1 first author publication in middle tier journal, 1 second author publication in top tier journal, 2 conferences, 4/4 GPA in Masters from top Canadian uni. Had interview, and received encouraging reply from PI while applying. Disappointed at the outcome! Best of luck to others.

Pritzker School Of Molecular Engineering (PME), University of Chicago No papers, no GRE, GPA3.7 in British Uni, IELTS 7.5. Haven't contacted with any PI. The result has been posted on the portal but the email doesn't come yet. Congrats to those who are admitted and wish rest of us have good ending
