Got an email from Student Services Manager that I wasn't approved for either PhD or Master's (Computational Social Policy track). Not surprised for PhD, but was hoping to at least be considered for Master's. Oh well. Congrats to everyone who got accepted and good luck to everyone!

Knew it was coming based on previous years. Stats: 2 first author pubs (1 journal and 1 conference paper) and 2 co-author conferences paper. Also LOL at the bug they had when posting the decision letters - tell us our decision has been posted but its really not and I'm just clicking on every possible button trying to find where the hell this thing is hiding.

Wasn't expecting to get in and not too bothered but these are the best line from a cold letter: "The number of applicants for graduate study in our Department far exceeds the number we can admit." and "I sincerely hope that you secure admission to another program and that you will find a way to continue your interest in history."

To the posters below: How did you find out about your rejections? Did you have interview(s)? I haven't gotten an email yet for neither an acceptance or a rejection. And on the applyweb website, it only shows submitted. Where should I look?
