Cognitive track

received at ~9am est. said they are interviewing all finalists. stats: ~2 yrs of research, no pubs/big awards, straight out of undergrad.

Totally not expecting this! Super grateful! Two full interview days in March.

Emailed them two days ago regarding the waitlist status. Replied with: "I am truly sorry to inform you that we are not offering you admission to MIT's Department of Architecture for the Master of Architecture. The number of applicants for admission to the Graduate School greatly exceeds the number that can be accommodated and it has been necessary to refuse admission to some fine applicants." Too bad I couldn't get in. Will be attending Harvard GSD though!

2 years research experience. 1 summer research internship. Strong letters of recommendation. Rejected by generic email. Mentioned that they received more that 1500 applications for a class of less than 50.
