Johns Hopkins University Graduate School Admission Results

I originally applied for the PhD program in mechanical engineering at Johns Hopkins. Today I emailed the program director to inquire about the status of my application. I was informed that I was not accepted for the PhD program. However, I was offered admission for the Masters program. Likely will not be accepting this offer as I got a PhD acceptance at another university. Am also a US student.

I got waitlisted on 02/01/2023 and received an email from the director on 03/29/2023 to inform admission.

Please anyone who has been given admission to the department of civil engineering and has no interest in going should kindly reject to give us on the waiting list a chance. This is one of my top choice and my only positive response so far. Thank you.

Got a mail that I have been waitlisted while an initial round of offers have gone out along with a majority of declines. If any of the offer holders have already accepted somewhere else ,please consider declining this offer as soon as you can. This would mean the world to me and the other waitlisted candidates who will have a chance to be considered again.

professor emailed me saying that I sadly wasn't going to be offered a position. Seemed to have wanted me but couldn't make it happen
