Has anyone on the waitlist heard back yet?

"You have been placed on a Wait List for possible admission to the Ph.D. program at Cornell University. Because of the very unusual circumstances under which we are living at the moment, we are, for the first time, maintaining a Waitlist for admission into the Ph.D. program so that we can better control the size of our incoming class. We would like to invite you to our virtual visit day which is being held on Monday, March 8. I will send additional information once it has been finalized. If you decide to accept an offer from another school, please let me know so that I can remove you from the Wait List. " Anyone hear from them since being waitlisted?

Ignore the waitlist. Has anyone heard from them regarding M.Eng admission? I submitted my application in December but I didnt heard from them yet

*Ignore waitlist* Haven't heard anything from them, rejected from the rest of the Universities I applied to, so Cornell is the last hope I have for this admission season. If someone doesn't want to accept the offer, I request them please decline asap.

TPB: Are you declining Cornell Econ or Cornell Dyson? Anybody else who was recently accepted to Dyson from the waitlist? I saw one post

"We are doing a rolling admissions this year and we will not have a final answer until later. The admissions committee has not formed a wait list. Please feel free to keep emailing me for updates." I emailed them twice and got exactly same response. Anyone still waiting to hear back? I just want to know soon so I can decide to accept or decline other offers...

TPPB: Ignore waitlist. I thought they had submitted all admits as I am waiting for a rejection mail. Can you tell me the initials of your POI.

Got a phone call from POI said that I am accepted

Sent them an email and they got back to me. They said they reviewed my application but haven't come to a decision yet since they have a lot of deferments from last year due to covid. They said hopefully they could get back to me in early April :/

Had an interview with the professor and laboratory members and said would get back to me within a week, but still didn't get any response. Eagerly waiting to hear back!
