Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) ALL Weak letters. 5 workshop papers, all 5th author. 7 posters which were never presented. Very high GPA, but no research impact. SOP stating my name and the list of people I have contacts with within thee field. Emailed POIs with people with internal contacts.

Computer Science, University Of Oxford TTPB: I was interviewed for a PhD position about two weeks ago. I was interviewed for 15 minutes and the email said the same thing. So at this point I would say, you don't worry too much about the interview being short. They would obviously be more wary in selecting PhD applications than MSc applicants.

Computer Science, University Of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) Emailed POI: I applied to the Ph.D. 2020 program and mentioned you as a potential supervisor. since I did not get an admit for the same. I was hoping if you can be kind enough to share the possible reason/explanation for the rejection. It would be very helpful for me to work on my weaknesses in the future or to know if I have any chances next year at CU Boulder. If I was not a good match for you in terms of research work compatibility. I would love to have an opportunity to work with you this year and get to know your work better. Response: Admissions decisions are still ongoing and have not yet been completed. You should hear from us in 2-3 weeks. IDK what to make of this??.
