It is one of the main reasons why I applied for PhD here, knowing that my chances of getting an admit for that are very low. I had confirmed this with them via mail last August, before the application season.

Computer Science, University Of Maryland, College Park (UMD) Has anyone received a rejection on the application portal? I have not heard anything from UMD and contacted a POI. He informed me that I should assume I have been rejected if I have not received an acceptance letter.

Computer Science, Oregon State University (Corvallis) Weird school! Unexpected!! As many before me mentioned, their acceptance criteria seems highly nondeterministic, I'd advise anyone applying there to contact and have interview with professors before submitting the application, otherwise don't do it. Waste of $85 dollars and time.

Computer Science, University Of Californa, Los Angeles (UCLA) TTPB : I gave an interview early March and was told to expect the result by the end of that week, it's been three weeks hence and radio silence from the lab. I'm guessing it is the Corona Virus delay, waiting it out in anxiously

Computer Science, Rice University Strangest thing happened! Around two weeks I received a rejection, and today I got an email telling to check portal since there was an update. It was an acceptance! THRILLED! I am so glad that all the effort finally yields positive outcomes and I can continue my professional growth. Yaayyy!

Computer Science, UMass-Amherst TTPB who told their academic subplan changed from PhD to MS, do you mean your 'plan' has changed or 'subplan' has changed ? And what was the decision ? Because on spire, my 'plan' changed from PhD to MS and the status says 'update pending'.
