Recent Graduate Admission Results March 2020
Computer Science, University of California-Berkeley I was notified only today (March 24) of my rejection for the CS PhD (technically, MS/PhD) program. Did this happen to anyone else? I know a bunch of other people got their rejections 3 weeks ago, so I'm perplexed by this.

Computer Science, Santa Clara University Be cautious of this school. I have several friends who went there and I know it fairly well. It seems like they deny PhD applicants in favor of admitting them into the MS program so that they can have you pay for the degree yourself (which is expensive af).

Computer Science, Georgia Institute Of Technology (GaTech) Did anyone hear anything new from gatech's admissions office? I saw the statistics is lower compared to previous years but I don't know if they are still accepting people. I hope if they reject me they don't drag it out..

Computer Science, University Of Alberta To all those waiting, DO NOT give up hope yet. Everything is delayed due to COVID-19. One person posted that the final round of PhD offers was supposed to go out 1.5 weeks ago, and maybe they did (I don't know). I do know that NSERC results were also supposed to be out around that time and they are now delayed by THREE weeks. Please keep the faith. If in mid-April, nothing comes...then that will be a better time to guess whether you have been admitted or not. It is a difficult time for everyone at the unviersity, including the profs on the admissions committee! Let's wait and see...

Computer Science, University Of Maryland - College Park TTPB who got the Ph.D. offer: Congrats! Did you receive an email yesterday? I am also waiting to hear back from UMD but no communication yet. I tried contacting csgradof[at]cs.umd.edu but they also didn't respond. I dropped a mail to POI today.

Computer Scienceter Science, University Of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) I did not get any email regarding any status change. emailed the admins. Still did not get any email notification. later that day checked the website, rejected. How unprofessional can they be? we pay application fees and get this in return.

Computer Science, University Of Colorado, Boulder So I got a rejection from the Admin (Rajshree) when the PhD rejections came out and was told my application will be moved to MSc review since I indicated that. Today I received a notification to check the application status and it is a rejection. I assume that I didn't get into the MSc program?
