Recent Graduate Admission Results March 2020
Computer Science, University Of Toronto Been encouraged by three different professors before submission; However, none of them replied back after I contacted them to look out for my application. Not sure if it is because their being super competitive or my being international? Would a high prestigious university like this ignore diversity? And also, my application status never changed to in progress, while others that got an interview did. I feel like they did not even look at my application whatsoever, what a waste of money, time, and energy. Such a long wait for this.

Computer Science, University Of Toronto My area is ML/NLP and everyone knows that the UoT CS program is super competitive. But what is bothering me is the fact that a new faculty encouraged me to apply, even contacted the department to allow me for the late submission. Promised me for an interview in January. Never did the interview, nor replies back. She could have given me some task or assignment and then reject me. Waste of time, energy, money. I could have contacted other faculties. Applied twice to UofT, once in 2017, and once now. The fun fact is that I work in a company where I recently interviewed two MSc. from UofT CS, eager to get a job. Congrats to people who got in.

Computer Science, Michigan State University (MSU) Doing bachelor's at Jadavpur University. Had 7 publications in total while applying - one publication in a Journal with IF 4.68. Decent GPA. Have done an internship at a start-up in Bangalore.

Computer Science, University of Houston TTPB: I haven't had any interview and I haven't received the decision yet. My interest is algorithms. The posted GPA is my undergraduate GPA and I had 3.97 GPA in my master degree. No publication. I have a scholarship that covers my tuition. Number 1

Computer Science, University of Houston #3 Here. I'm also waiting. The previous reply I had got was, "Your application is complete and waiting on a decision. The admissions committee are still making decisions. Please monitor your applyweb application for any updates including a decision." This was on Mar 23rd.
