Computer Science, Columbia University With the same message as the person below. I think it's kind of sad of Columbia to only send out decisions now in late March, I already was looking into my other options and didn't even consider Columbia anymore. The response still felt disrespectful - especially because of the timing.

Each year we receive many more qualified applicants to our program than we are able to accept, and hence we are faced with the difficult task of denying admission to many excellent candidates. We sincerely hope that you will be able to make alternative arrangements for your graduate studies." not surprising, 3.9/4.0 gpa but low GRE scores and only 1 research paper

Computer Science, Georgia Institute Of Technology (Gatech Georgia Tech) Stop fighting people. This is becoming irritating for people who just checking Gradcafe and also causing massive confusion on what to expect. If you have got your result, be happy, move on and stop justifying you are right as no one is able to validate anything anyway. For those of you who haven't heard anything, let's wait for the status to change. Nothing posted here is going to change your application decision. So stop posting random things here.
