3.5 overall GPA, 3.75 Spanish Major GPA 5 research assistant positions, Summer program with Northwestern University (SROP), 2 internships, 1 language assistantship, president of 2 clubs, volunteer TA at a CC, volunteered with the United Nations program, volunteered with a non profit, McNair Scholar, one scholarship for 6k-one for 500, deans and president list since 2nd year.

2.5 years of work experience in NGO (USA) and developing country's Government (internationally). Cum Laude and dean's lister. Weak quantitative experience and coursework. Solid/Strong LORS from Department head and Govt. officials.

no GRE. 3 years WE. Econ background. International. Thrilled!

Accepted, no financial aid information yet. No GRE, 3.46 GPA in undergrad (political science and journalism). 7 years of professional experience in global public relations and think tank roles. 3.87 GPA in PR graduate program, thesis related to messaging during post-conflict reconciliation. 4 foreign languages (high-level).

Applied on the deadline for most scholarships (1 December) and mail came in today. Physics undergrad from a top university in Turkey. Mediocre academic record. A bit long (1490 words) motivation letter. Strong letters of recommendation, I believe. Two (and a half) research experiences in different areas of physics, one of them is on its way to end with a paper. IELTS 8/9, no GRE. Many outreach activities, and TA experience. Very excited to be accepted for Quantum Devices and Quantum Computing track. Although I do not have much research experience in the respective field, I attended many workshops and got the chance to explore. Fingers crossed for scholarship opportunities, but it's a long shot.
