Computer Science, Imperial College London Got a First Class Honours from UCL with a UG in Civil Engineering. Self-taught software engineer with 3 years experience. I had 2 LORs from industry... but I guess it didn't work out as well as I'd hoped. Wish you guys luck!

Computer Science, Columbia University TBH: I don't think it's going to be very positive on getting admitting as people they want to admit have already got their offers. I had some friends that have better background already got their offer from Columbia regardless that we submit the application at the exact same time. Even if there are a few rounds of offers coming they wouldn't be much. Be realistic guys.

Computer Science, University of Southern California "You do not have any messages at this time." This message is driving me crazy. TTPB . congrats on getting a closure on your application. Guess I will wait a few more hours untill the end of the day and send an email. :

Computer Science (Data Science), University of Southern California Finally. Fucking finally, after waiting for 218 days I can get closure. They said that I\'m academically eligible to get in, they\'ll send the official admit letter by July 15 when I demonstrate proof of ability to pay tuition and living expenses. The mail also says I gotta pay $500 as commitment deposit by July 31 if I choose the offer. I didn\'t visit the USC Graduate websites for info, but the mail I got says I got 2 options — Fall 2020 in-person, or Fall 2020 online followed by Spring in-person. On visiting their "Newly Admitted" website however, I see there are 4 options -- one can even defer to Fall \'21.\r\n\r\nI\'ll probably reject the offer, it\'s way too costly -- living expenses, and everything else included. I already have 2 just as good offers (with scholarship). \r\nTo those reading — if you\'re accepted, good for you, really. If you were rejected after all this wait, you have me on your side too. USC will always be \"Uni of Stupid Cunts\" or \"Uni of Spoilt Children\" for me.\r\nCheers.

Computer Science, Columbia University I'm done waiting. Some of us are planning on paying for the majority of the cost of attendance and this is how Columbia treat prospect grad students? The only reason why I even check these posts and updates is because I paid the application and GRE fee.
