Computer Science, Stanford University I'm not sure why it has to do with people of a certain ethnicity or nationality (im chinese American). things are not gonna go as you expected no matter how badly you want it to. what you could do is simply to accept em. If you truly think you have the potentials but schools didn't see from your applications, take a year off working on your research skills to beef up your cv or get some papers published in some top conferences to show your potentials. Or go to some AI labs to become research engineers and apply next year. Also, there are also some other good schools out there. i just don't understand why people always are tryna be mean to others? you can't just simply say some international students stole your seats at UC Berkeley or Stanford because you didn't get in in the first place. you gotta grow up and stop acting like a kid.

Computer Science, Cornell Tech TTPB who have already got admitted, did you guys all get an email for a pre-recorded behavioral interview? Is this interview a necessary condition for future consideration? What role does this interview play? Does anyone else from 2nd priority ddl also get the interview?

Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst TTPB : I am the poster who said the argument is faulty. I am sorry if that offended you but that was not my intention. I just pointed out the 2 flaws/corrections in your reasoning. I also dont see how you took upon yourself the whole its-the-uni-fault-for-keeping-different -info. I just pointed what uni has presented and did not mean anything personal to you. All I mean is the results should have started rolling out by now if we go by SPIRE or gradcafe posts 2020. And I am just anxiously waiting and being paranoid about it.

If you open cics.umass.edu/admissions/application-instructions, you will see it say March 30. If a different link says March 15, that's an inconsistency on the uni's end. 2. I know what "rolling" means. Maybe you don't know what "patience" or "politeness" means.

Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst TTPB: Your argument is faulty. 2 correctio ns. 1) The website say ending on March 15 and not March 30. 2) Do you know the meaning of "rolling". They have said rolling from Jan 15 to March 15 and not a single decision yet!

Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst I see a lot of questions about MS admission decisions for UMass Amherst. Though the spire portal says that the avg. time to make a decision in 6-10 weeks. Their website clearly says "Fall admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis starting January 15 and ending March 30." -https://www.cics.umass.edu/admissions/prospective-graduates We may have to wait for a little more time. Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst Spire says - "Depending on the size of the applicant pool, it typically takes six to ten weeks from the application deadline for the program committee to communicate their admissions recommendations to the Graduate School." It's 9 weeks since application deadline today!
