Computer Science, University of Southern California Got an email saying "The USC Viterbi School of Engineering is pleased to recommend you for admission to the Computer Science Summer Start 2021 Program". On the application form, it was stated "If you are selected, are you interested in starting your MS degree in our summer term (starting May 2021) instead of our fall term?" to which I had replied "Yes". Does this mean I am selected for the fall term but could instead start early or is it just an invitation to start early without bearing of the actual Fall decision?

Computer Science (ML), Carnegie Mellon University TTPB to the post on 12th Feb : I had contacted them in the first week of Feb and was told the MS ML results won't be out in the 1st-2nd week of Feb. Could be anytime now till end of Feb. Was really betting it to be this Monday and here we are on a Wednesday. So, I don't know, I hope it's soon.
