Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University General MS CS program. Just received the straight-in-your-face rejection email at 8:02 pm EST. No surprises or pain here. It was a long shot anyway, plus I already have an admit to a great program, for which I'm so grateful. Congrats to everyone who got accepted!

Computer Science, Cornell University TTPB: Oh whoops, just noticed you're comparing the ITHACA Meng and not Cornell Tech Meng. Can't help much there, I don't know much about the Ithaca one and didn't apply to it. The comparison below is for Cornell Tech Meng for anyone else interested.

Interview Fall 2021 GRE 168 GRE V 163 GRE AW 5.00 Masters
Computer Science, Cornell University TTPB: I was accepted to the Connective Media program and I also had a hard time choosing between the two. The biggest difference is the length as you mentioned. The MEng program is 9 months with no option to extend. This means you'll be looking for a full time role as soon as you start with no internship opportunities. The CM program is 2 years and obviously has an internship opportunity which is a HUGE pro as you can imagine. Further, the CM programs lets you take a ton of CS courses and you'll probably end with around 2x times CS credits as an MEng student. Also, the cost can be alleviated somewhat via scholarship. I received a $30,000 scholarship and I know others have received up to $50,0000. So for me, since I think internship is extremely important, the CM program was a no-brainer.

Computer Science, Cornell University I'm a little confused about enrolling in MEng CS (Ithaca) and MS Connective Media (Cornell Tech), are there any obvious pros/cons? CM is very expensive but is an amazing program. While MEng is also great, its a 9 month course and is really fast paced.
