MSW Social Work, University Of Toronto My first acceptance - I thought for a second this was an April Fool's Joke! So excited as this was my first choice :) Email indicated that I should have received my acceptance package via post by now - I haven't, but I'm spending the year in the States, and things take forever to get here.

Social Work, York University, Toronto, Canada Has anyone else who was waitlisted for the 2-year MSW heard anything? I accepted the waitlist spot, and then emailed them again to ask them to confirm that they got my email, and I haven't heard back from them...

Social Work, York University Toronto Answering the questions below: I got the email at 2:24pm and it was from a person at york university, i.e. not a main department email. I called the coordinator about a week ago and that's when he told me I'm waitlisted, even though I haven't received the email until now. My status still says no decision though. They are very slow at York.

Social Work, York University, Toronto To the other frustrated msw applicant at york...It looks as we are on the same page. I was a student at york, graduated at 2007. I don't understand how being a student at york makes a difference and why it effects our application results. I called them yesterday the person I was talking to couldn't explain why there is no decision status on my application said that she will check it out and call me back today....well so far no call from her. I wish someone could tell us whats going on with it...my personal take on it...they just misplaced them. Poor organization on their behalf :(

Master Of Social Work, York University, Toronto, Canada To the people bellow, did you apply for the one year program or the two year program. Also to the person who said that they were waitlisted over the phone...did you call them to acquire about your status or the department contacted you? Who did you speak with? My status still says "no decision yet". Everytime I contact the department they tell me by the end of next week I will know, it has been 4 weeks since I first called them.

Social Work, York University, Toronto To the York PhD applicant who posted on April 20th: I was offered a small amount of funding. They don't have a lot of money for International students. I accepted another Canadian Social Work PhD program, which offered me full funding.

Masters Of Social Work (MSW), York University, Toronto, Canada To the person who asked if there anyone else waiting to hear from York University...well... I am, my status also says no decision yet, Did you apply for a two year program or one? You mentioned UofT do you mind telling when did you hear from them and what is your deadline to accept the offer? I was put on a waiting list for Uoft - Two year program.

MSW Masters Of Social Work, York University, Toronto Thank You for your response, I did not realize that "MyFile" will actually tell you if you got accepted. Mine still says no decision yet. I also called the director two weeks ago and they said the same as they told you. Too bad they don't follow what they say. Good Luck to You too.
