Philosophy, McGill University Applied for the PhD1 direct-entry program. I emailed the department asking for an update and was told that they are not done the admissions process yet but that at this point, it's unlikely that they will be able to offer me a place.

Political Science, McGill University The most wanted programme in Canada has been rejected, and it may indeed be out of bounds with North America. Last October in the discovery of McGill's polisci thesis project, the feeling of reading the placement was very good, the training mode is also relatively like, on a whim significantly adjusted the paperwork, the results to today or were rejected. The thesis project should also be on my scientific research background as well as the experience of publishing in a very high demand, plus I do not know and this year's international student policy has no relationship. I don't know if it has anything to do with this year's international student policy, so I feel like I'm a little bit hit-and-miss. However, I am satisfied with the offers from BaZheng and LSE, which is actually a great recognition for the whole application!

Political Science, McGill University Domestic Student with a vast RA experience and two BA degrees. Submitted application with a research proposal. Quite disappointing that I'm not even waitlisted. Good luck to those who got accepted!!

Urban Planning, McGill University 4.0 Undergrad, 3.9 Masters in Urban Planning. Less research experience but have published articles and speak at conferences. Not sure why, wish they provided some explanation to see if it is worth trying again next year (funding constraints?) or not bother (don't think I'm a fit, etc)
