Computer Science, University Of Pennsylvania 2 years work experience as a Software Dev at FAANG, 1 year of research at an Ivy, 4 papers in AI/ML (2A, 2C). Lots of hackathon wins and work on improving diversity in Tech.

Computer Science, ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute Of Technology MSc from top uni in Europe with a good GPA, first-author publication at a top-tier venue, research internship experience, and SWE internship at a renowned tech company. I reached out to the PI during the fall and had an interview back then. After a while, I was asked to have my recommenders send a letter of recommendation. Area: ML/Security.

GPA: 4.5/5. 7 months research experience with professor working on paper, plus 5 months working as research assistant with another professor. 3 semesters as TA in CS courses. Extensive teaching experience as math & English tutor volunteer, plus some other fundraising volunteering. Toefl 113, and no GRE because it was optional. Second place out of 40 in European tech competition. 10 months software development experience in the form of internship + contract. Research based MS.

MSc from top uni in Europe with a good GPA, first-author publication at a top-tier venue, research internship experience, and SWE internship at a renowned tech company. Found out after applying that POI wasn't hiring this year, and I had no interview, so the rejection was expected
