Graduate School Admission Results

I have been checking emails and the portal itself. Could you explain where you found your decision once one was available? I login like I did when I was working on the application to try and find it. Is that correct or is there a separate place to check?

To the posters below, I never received an email about the portal. The only thing I know to check is where I completed online application. Is there another place?

I was accepted back in March and once you get an email, there should be a link at the bottom for you to click on which contains the decision made.

Well, no need for me to try to mess with the portal...I just received an email response from the chair which said I was not accepted this year. She apologized for the delay in communication and referenced a paperwork delay (?) Good luck to those of you still waiting to hear something! Who's to say that maybe you're on the wait list and haven't been notified due to the same paperwork delay...it's hard to say!

Still waiting on other schools, but have to decide by this Wednesday!

To those of you wondering about NCCU, I called and spoke with the graduate admissions person directly today. Not only are they not sending anything out today, but they are still sorting through their applications.

To the poster below. So have they not sent anything out yet? Other people have posted saying the received acceptances. What is going on here?

To the poster below, I called NCCU on Tuesday and they told me they would hopefully have decisions made by the end of the week. Well that means there is only today and tomorrow. So if we do not hear anything back from them then there is a problem. Good luck to you! Fingers crossed!

For those of y'all wondering about NCCU, they started admitting students back in early March. We've even started registering for classes this fall already. Dr. Hao would be your best point of contact person.

They said they can't accept me and if I wanted to be put on the wait list I could be. PLEASE reject if you're not interested!

To the poster who asked about the portal, the portal is where you applied. At the bottom of the website, there is a link saying "Your application decision is now available online".

Got accepted and so thankful and grateful for this oppurtunity

Does anyone know how the waitlist works at ODU or how long it is? Has anyone heard from North Carolina central? I haven't heard anything from NCCU. I've been waitlisted at ODU. I've called and emailed both schools but can't get through to anyone.
